Please donate so that the faculty of the Walton STEM Academy can provide the STEM Academy students with extraordinary resources that will further enrich their education. Donations entered on this form will be dedicated to the STEM Academy. The Walton Foundation merely provides a method to distribute the donated funds to the STEM Academy
Money raised will help cover the cost of dedicated laptops/iPads, lab materials and other STEM related costs. For example, the following consumable lab materials are used specifically for the STEM students: Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration Kit, Cloning and Sequencing Kit, and 3D Printer Filament.
The STEM Academy relies on regular instructional funding to help cover the costs, but that support is minimal. Therefore, there is still a need for additional funds to help offset costs and further invest in the STEM Academy. We have approximately 200 students in the program and are recommending an annual donation of $250 per student – but any amount is greatly appreciated.
