Powder Puff is Walton’s annual fun-filled event in which a team of ladies from each grade level play a flag football tournament. Walton guys are the coaches and the Jr Raider Cheerleaders will be cheering. Buy your tickets today as they are $4 in advance and $5 on the day of the tournament.
We are having a “color out” for the game. Seniors should wear pink. Juniors should wear royal blue. Sophomores wear orange and Freshman wear green. Come to cheer on your grade’s team. Who will be the champions this year?
Game Day Schedule – Friday, Sept 17, 2021 at Raider Valley
- 6:30 pm: Players/Coaches/Cheerleaders report to the practice field for warmups
- 7:00 pm: Gates open
- 7:20 pm: Game #1 – Seniors vs Freshmen then Game #2 – Juniors vs Sophomores
- 8:15 pm (approx): The Cheerleading Competition
- 8:30 pm (approx): Game #3 – Championship Game
Player Information and Registration
Player Registration – Players are selected by the first 35 players to submit their registration
- Registration form must be completed and submitted online by Friday, Aug 6, 2021
- A parent/legal guardian must sign the online registration form
- Venmo $20 to @Walton-SLC to complete your registration
- The roster of 35 players per grade level will be posted on the Foundation’s website by Saturday, August 7, 2021
Player Requirements
- Uniform: Black shorts, socks, athletic shoes
- Powder Puff T-shirts (will be provided): Seniors-Red, Juniors-Blue, Sophomores-Green, Freshmen-Orange
- Equipment: Mouthpiece REQUIRED (no exceptions), will be checked before the game.
- Mandatory Rules Meeting: Wed, August 11, 2021 at 7:30 am in the Information Center
- Practice: Practices are scheduled by your captains and coaches for each team. If you do not attend practices, you will not be able to play the night of the game. Captains are to keep Mrs. Winokur informed as to practice dates/times/locations.
