The Foundation flexibly fulfills the current needs of the Walton community. Some of the current needs being addressed are:
- Health & Wellness
- Hand Sanitizer stations have been installed throughout the campus and they are maintained with medical grade sanitizer.
- Capital Improvements
- 2023: The award winning Walton Raider Band has requested that the Foundation install a water bottle filling station near the band room for the benefit of the hundreds of students who participate in Marching Band. This is in progress.
- Teacher Grants
- Teacher grants provided by funds collected via the Publix and Kroger rewards accounts enable teachers to purchase much needed items for their classrooms.
- Management of a donor-funded grant providing teachers funds for continuing education.
- Housewarming Items
- Past campaigns raised funds to purchase housewarming items for our new building such as trash cans, a bike rack, improved floor wax, etc.
