Congratulations to the Teletubbies! They won the very competitive 3 v 3 tournament last week. The Tournament was part of Walton’s March Madness coordinated by our Student Leadership Council. Hoops for Hope raised $250 for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta that day. A special thanks goes to all our students and staff that participated.
The community was invited to watch The Incredibles on a 40′ screen this past Saturday as a part of SLC’s March Madness. We raised $1683.10 for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta! Special thanks to our sponsors: Jim Ellis Volkswagen of Kennesaw, Altitude Trampoline Park, American Axes, Select Floors Inc, Red Seal Craft Studio, Florence Healthcare, Bennett Thrasher, Matt’s Powerwashing, Belvedere Direct Lending, Non-Surgical Orthopaedics, PC, The Michaels Family, Flags of the Fallen and Casabella.
Thank you to the 36 students and parent volunteers who, even in the bitter cold, made tremendous progress on the hillside as well as the garden outside the cafeteria during our March 23rd Campus Spring Cleanup. They pulled many weeds and planted flowers. We were able to plant flowers in the planters in the garden and along our Raider Valley wall. These students worked hard!
Thank you!
