Raising funds to enrich the Walton High School Community
Mark you calendars and save Saturday, September 17, 2022 to enjoy Walton Powder Puff Football.
Would you like your student to start the new school year organized and prepared for an excellent semester at Walton? You and your student should join us for one of our Study Skills Seminars.
You and your student will learn how to take effective notes and to utilize class and study resources offered at Walton to be better organized and prepared for his or her classes.
Learning Specialist and former teacher, Natalie Collins M.Ed., will be offering two 1.5 hour seminars in the Walton’s Lecture Hall, which is in the Media Center.
If your student would like to volunteer between two and four times a month helping Sunrise Senior Living at East Cobb residents with technology, playing games with them, or simply visiting them, please sign up for the new Walton Sunrise Team! This is group is sponsored by the Walton Foundation.
We wish all of our Walton families a wonderful July 4th holiday!
Our very own physics teacher, Mrs Evans, flew into the stratosphere…above normal airplane altitudes and up to about 45,000 feet on the NASA SOFIA while doing some awesome science as part of the SETI Institute’s NASA Airborne Astronomy Ambassadors (AAA) program. SOFIA is a Boeing 747SP aircraft modified to carry a telescope with an effective diameter of 100 inches. Way to go Mrs Evans!
