Raising funds to enrich the Walton High School Community
Buy your online Powder Puff tickets today for $4! Tickets will be $5 on the day of the flag football tournament on Friday, Sept 17th. Once you buy your tickets, each attendee will receive an email with their QR coded ticket. The ticket takers at the gate will simply scan your ticket on your phone or your printed out ticket.
Join the Walton Touchdown Club and the Student Leadership Council (SLC) by donating funds online or by donating needed items for the Cobb Center for Children and Young Adults (CCYA). CCYA has a wide range of needs: from household supplies to pantry items which makes it easy for us all to chip in to help this wonderful organization in our own community. The items can be dropped off on Sept 10th at the football game in front of Raider Valley. Students will be in front of the stadium to take your donations. You may also donate online via the button below. All donated funds will be submitted to the CCYA by the SLC and the Walton Touchdown Club.
2021-CCYA-Comprehensive-WishlistMrs. Heuel teaches Biology, English and study skills at Walton. She has been teaching for 12 years. Before joining Walton, she taught at Dodgen. Mrs. Heuel finds seeing how much her students have grown since she had them at Dodgen very rewarding.
At an early age, Mrs. Heuel knew she wanted to work with children. When she was in college, she was an after-school coordinator for the YMCA. It was that job, that confirmed she would be working with students in some capacity.
Outside of teaching, Mrs. Heuel enjoys attending and cheering on Atlanta United with her husband. She also loves music! She has sung and played all of her life.
Keeping our community and schools clean one pickup at a time. We meet outdoors once a month to pick up trash at Walton, its feeder schools or East Cobb Park.
